Stratamed is an advanced medical-grade silicone gel that forms a transparent, protective film on the skin, designed for the care of wounds , burns , and compromised skin areas. It helps prevent and treat hypertrophic scars and keloids by providing an optimal moist healing environment that accelerates re-epithelialization and reduces redness, itching, and discomfort .
Its non-reactive formula, free of alcohol, fragrances and parabens, makes it ideal for sensitive skin , babies , children , and during pregnancy or breastfeeding .

Active ingredients
  • Polysiloxanes (Polysiloxanes):A blend of medical-grade silicones forms the base of the gel. They create a flexible, breathable, and waterproof film over the wound, maintaining hydration.
  • Siloxane resin (Siloxane resin):A component that helps the gel adhere smoothly to the skin and form a long-lasting protective barrier, ensuring full contact with the wound bed for effective healing.
Instructions for use
  1. Preparation:Ensure the affected skin or surface wound is clean. Gently dry any excess exudate or fluid from the area as much as possible before application.
  2. Application:Apply a layervery fineof Stratamed directly onto the affected or injured area.
  3. Drying:If applied correctly to exposed areas, Stratamed should dry in 5-6 minutes. If it takes longer to dry, you have probably applied too much. Gently remove any excess with a clean tissue or gauze.
  4. Frequency:It is recommended to apply once a day, or twice a day on exposed areas, or as recommended by a doctor.
  5. With Dressings:If used with a secondary dressing (such as gauze), there is no need to wait for it to dry. Reapply Stratamed each time you change the dressing.

Recommended duration:

  • Post-procedure (ablative, resurfacing):Use continuously (24h/7d) for a minimum of 30 days or until no improvement is observed.
  • Scar prevention:Use continuously (24h/7d) for a minimum of 60 to 90 days.
Suitable for

StratamedIt is indicated for the immediate treatment and protection ofsuperficial wounds, burns, and compromised skinwhere the integrity of the skin has been compromised. It is the treatment of choice for carepost-procedureimmediate (after surgery, laser treatments, peels, dermabrasion, radiotherapy, or tattoos) to accelerate healing andto prevent the formation of abnormal scars(keloids and hypertrophic).

Its inert formulation, free of alcohol, parabens and fragrances, and with high tolerance, makes itSuitable for all skin typesincluding thesensitive and reactive skin, thebabies' and children's skinand is completely safe for use during thepregnancyand thelactation.
Warnings

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Stratamed should not be applied over other skin treatments without consulting your doctor. May stain clothing if not completely dry. If the wound shows signs of infection, does not heal, or if irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Not suitable for moist, heavily oozing, tunneled wounds, or third-degree burns. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the tube.
